Under normal circumstances, most customers' sampling standards are based on Level II, Critical: 0, Major: 2.5, Minor: 4.0. The customers also have their own different sampling standards, such as some customers. Sampling and inspecting your own sampling standards according to Level II, Critical: 0.65, Major: 1.5, Minor: 2.5, etc. During the inspection process, as long as there is an excess in Critical, Major, and Minor, the result of the entire inspection is judged as Fail.
So how do you judge Critical, Major, Minor? Different products, different customers, there will be different criteria, the specific circumstances should be analyzed.
But for most products, these points are resolved according to the general definition (special products or special requirements are not discussed here):
1. Critical: 0-fatal defect.
Generally speaking, Critical refers to a fatal defect of a product. The product may cause harm or discomfort to the consumer. There is a safety hazard in use, or it may cause pollution to the product. If the merchant faces a consumer return or claim, it will be judged as Critical. Most customers are 0 accepted for Critical and 0 for tolerance. In general, such as: sharp points, sharp edges, cloaks, broken needles, sharp weapons, insects, hair, blood stains, mildew, etc., will be judged as Critical.
There is another category, such as printing a wrong placemark, or mislabeling or missing the product's UPC bar code. Many customers will also judge this as Critical, but some customers will also classify this as Major.
Once the problem is determined to be Critical, then the entire shipment is to be returned.
2. Major: 1.5 or 2.5 - serious defects
Generally speaking, Major means that the defects of the product are obvious, which seriously affects the appearance and has no safety problems. However, consumers are easy to find and affect consumers who purchase this product, and will be judged as Major.
For example, the malfunction of the product, the leakage of the gadget from the product, the impact on the use of the product, etc. are serious defects.

3. Minor: 2.5 or 4.0 - minor defects / minor defects
In general, Minor means that the product has minor defects, does not affect the use of the product, does not affect the function, and does not have a major impact on the consumer's purchase choice. It can be judged as Minor.
For example, thread ends, dirt, glue, poorly printed, slight wrinkles, etc. are all minor defects.
